Sherry is all about creating experiences, connecting community, building tribes and having a bit of fun while she's at it. As co-founder of Maker Faire and a major advocate of "all things maker" in the global community, she helped spark and grow the maker movement. She recently joined the Freeman Company team as Innovator-in-Residence exploring the medium of LIVE and is a founding member and producer of Decameron Row. Her roots are in publishing, starting at Addison-Wesley, then on to Ziff-Davis where she got hooked on events after successfully delivering the first JavaOne developer conference for Sun Microsystems in 1996.
