Dylan Freedman leads development for DocumentCloud, a platform for analyzing, annotating, and sharing collections of documents. He received a B.A. in computer science and music at Harvard and a master’s in journalism at Stanford. He has also taught data journalism at Temple University. Between academic pursuits, he was a software engineer and researcher in machine perception at Google before joining MuckRock and the DocumentCloud project in 2018. As a long-time programmer and recent journalist, Dylan strives to develop computational tools to help people find and tell stories.
