Terry serves as the Chief Development Officer for The Texas Tribune, leading the efforts on major gifts and grants since 2014. She has worked as a professional fundraiser for over 23 years to support many nonprofit organizations in Austin and around Texas, most recently The Nature Conservancy of Texas and The Contemporary Austin. Terry is a sixth-generation Texan and a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin.
