The global coronavirus pandemic has generated a vast amount of misinformation and disinformation, presenting great challenges to news organisations. How has Reuters fact-checked the pandemic? This session will reveal the lessons learned by Reuters, including how the fact-checking partnership with Facebook in the United States, operates. The panel will also include global fact-checking bodies who will share insights, trends and patterns of misinformation which have emerged during the global emergency.
